Are you a visionary idea person?

You are excited about all those Ideas and want to make them Happen Now!

You want to share them with your list.

You want to build your list, build your business, build your life.

And yet, having all those ideas can be overwhelmingly, even chaotic as they tumble around in your head and into your conversations. Your family is tired of hearing about multiple ideas (they may not realize that by talking about them, you are evolving your ideas). And your team doesn’t quite get it either. You see the big picture, and they see the details .. maybe.

Whether you are a solopreneur, entrepreneur, corporate maven, with or without associates, you have a team. In addition to assistants, designers, developers, managers, family and friends, you have The Parts Department. We all have one.

While you may also have a physical parts department where you store nuts & bolts, widgets, product binders, supplies, etc., the Parts Department of which I speak is the one in your head. Yes, those voices that talk to you.* Typical voices of this Parts Department may include your Ego, Inner Critic, Little Girl, Little Boy, Alter Ego, Protector, Nay-sayer, Judge, Cheerleader amongst others.

While the messages from your Parts Department may have held you back from making great progress, they are valuable members of your team, especially once you learn to communicate with them, as well as learn to communicate and share with your human team members. Sharing is part of the first component of the SHINE (S.H.I.N.E.) System.

SHINE is more than project design, planning and management. This system is full of tools and techniques that you can use over and over, separately and together, to bring Your Ideas into Reality.

The SHINE System’s five segments build upon each other. In this program we spend time learning and doing each segment with plenty of time to practice in between modules. Each system segment has its own unique tools to assist with your process and progress.

Module 1

Sharing and Safety – within the Safety of the environment we create, you and your team members will be more likely to Share with ease and brilliance. The Parts Department will help you discover hidden gifts and expand your ideas and horizons.

Module 2

Harvesting Ideas – using brainstorming and related tools, we’ll gather ideas and make plans together. All idea contributions, including the crazy ones which can pop open new insights, are welcome. First we gather, then later evaluate.

Module 3

Implementation Plan – now that the ideas have been collected, it is time to select required elements, prioritize the steps to move forward, and decide which ideas to put on the shelf for another day and which to eliminate. Creating a project plan of doable steps, with target dates is our goal. As more information becomes available, adjustments tweaks and changes may be required.

Module 4

Nurturing – specific action steps happen, progress is made, feedback is received and changes may be required. Failures may happen so it is important to remember that often these failures provide rich information for idea enhancements. Tweaks allow you to improve upon your ideas.

Module 5

Exclaim with delight – celebrate victories at the end. It is important is to celebrate along the way, both for fun and also because celebrations are motivating! Remember to celebrate the learnings from failures as well as successes.

One teleclass series focused on creating a Free Taste / Lead Magnet to help build prospect list. By learning the SHINE System students were able to apply the same principals to any future projects.

• MP3 recordings for all 5 calls
• Supporting materials for each session

About Barb Cotta:

Prior to working as a coach and consultant, I worked in corporate environments including manufacturing (heating and air conditioning), service and marketing, then moved on to computers and High Tech installing and teaching folks how to use computer aided drafting systems as well as the first massively parallel supercomputer system. Yes, I’ve been around long enough to have worked for two of the first four nodes of the internet, even before email and cell phones. When folks say ‘It’s not rocket science or brain surgery”, I have a different take on it as I have worked with both of those as well as photographers, animal communicators, inventors, energy workers, creative, scientists, techies, and geeks. My left brain mechanical engineering and business degrees work well with my creative, energy healer right brain.
